While Acon X is blazing new ground today, it’s always been in our nature to promote breakthroughs.

Markku Keski-Oja is no stranger to defying gravity. In 2013, when he was eleven, he wanted to get more heavily into trampolining. He went looking for the best trampolines and that is when he heard about Acon for the first time. It didn't take long when he finally had to get one for himself. As a gtramping enthusiast and pioneer, he spent his time pushing the limits of what was possible on the springy surface. He set his sights on a new challenge – performing pro-style tricks on a garden trampoline, rather than the traditional "pro" model.

The idea seemed audacious at first. Garden trampolines were typically seen as recreational, not platforms for serious athletes, like whom Markku wanted to become. But Acon changed everything. With its sturdy frame and responsive bounce, the Acon trampoline was unlike anything Markku had ever experienced. It was the first garden trampoline that could support the kind of tricks he had in mind – flips, spins, and aerial maneuvers that would make even seasoned professionals take notice.

Markku wasted no time putting the Acon trampoline to the test. With each daring leap and twist, he proved that garden trampolines were capable of far more than anyone had imagined. His videos went viral, inspiring a new generation of athletes to push the boundaries of what was possible on backyard equipment. In the summer of 2016 he was the first person in the world to do the quad back – four flips backwards – with no boost. After that he decided to exclusively use Acon trampolines and snagged a sponsorship deal with Acon the following year.

Nearly a decade later, another amazing athlete leaped into the limelight, joining Markku as one of the best. ​ ​Aleksi Sainio, known for his fearless approach to trickery, became the fifth person in the world to execute the quint back – five flips backwards – on the Acon X, the latest evolution of our iconic trampolines.

With each new feat of athleticism, the Acon trampoline solidified its place in history as a symbol of innovation and possibility. And for Markku and Aleksi, it was a testament to the power of determination, creativity, and the thrill of defying gravity.

Markku’s passion for sharing his tricks online paved the way for him to transition into a full-time content creator, turning his love for trampolining into a thriving career. Meanwhile, Aleksi’s relentless determination earned him multiple placements in the freestyle world championships, and ultimately, a role here at Acon, where he continues to push boundaries and inspire the next generation of athletes.
